Love this before and after I saw on design*sponge! Apparently the paint was purchased for $1.00 in the "mis-tint" section at the paint store - I didn't know that existed!

Just some fun things I spotted on Simply Grove today while blog hopping. Add them to my list of "must attempt". More furniture makeovers, chair recovering, and fun pillows.

Here it is! My first mini-makeover. You remember the before...

And here's after! I love how bright and fun the colour is. It matches the duvet cover I made perfectly! And for $15 plus paint, you can't go wrong. I also picked up the lamp at Ikea, but I'm not sure I love the way it looks on top. Oh well, it's cute and functional. (And I'd probably like it more if the wall wasn't white behind it...isn't that how it is though? One project leads to another...) I lined the bottom of the night stand with a piece of wrapping paper from Write Impressions (Uptown Waterloo) - love that place! I still have leftovers, so I'll line the drawer with it too.

I bought this little beauty for at a local thrift store (I now have them staked out across town...) Can't wait to paint it! I haven't picked a colour yet, but I'm planning on it being a statement piece. Stay tuned!
